LESSONS & TRIALS
Do you ever wonder
Why things happen to you?
That cause hurt and fear
You have no clue.
Life would be boring
If every day
Were the same
In every way.
How would you learn
If you weren’t taught?
Through pain and sorrow
By each trial you fought.
Look for the lessons
That God sows.
This is His way
Of helping you grow.
Little by little
Your heart will be
Full of compassion
To help others to see.
That it’s only through the valleys
That we learn to give
Others our wisdom
And courage to live.
It’s all about lessons
And going through tests.
Give God the praises
And you’ll be blessed.

Again Diane, I find your poetry so beautiful. I sure hope you will decide to get to know us. There are some great folks here whom I also know will enjoy getting to know you. Please, tell us a little about yourself.
I'm from Pa and am 50 years young. I live in the Laurel mountains with my son and work fixing and restoring cars. I have been a member here for about 1 1/2 years now and am a Christian, most of the folks here are. My girlfriend posts here too, her username is Mysticfox. She's a great gal I know you'd just love. Your poetry is a breath of fresh air! Keep on posting!
