Good morning Sarge I just got home from trip to Mex. border.
Drove a truck load of supplies from Dallas.
Drove in some rain and wind and saw 3 tornado's.
Stayed there 4 hours and got ride back with FEMA.
I have traveled more in 2 days than I have since a long time.
I am tired and will post more later on today.
God heard all of the prayers.

Its a GREAT Day in America Everybody!

Wishing you all a wonderful 4th of July weekend folks. The weather here on the east coast is going to be perfect! Several days of low 90s and clear skies.

If you heading out be sure to check all of your fluid levels in your car and give the kids something to do as to cut down on distractions. Remember, drunk drivers will be out there too so drive defensively and stay off the cell phones and focus, be safe.

Here's what I'm recommending for the grill this holiday.

Phillie Cheese Steak Sandwich

Grill on medium heat thinly sliced rib eye steak brushed with olive oil.
Sauteed onions, sweet peppers and onions.
Melted American cheese, white and yellow.
French or Italian lightly toasted bread.
Put it all together with whatever toppings you like, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper...etc and enjoy!

Don't forget Iced tea and the Tums! LOL

Have a wonderful weekend everybody and be safe!

Love ya's,

I have my own version. I call it a mustang sandwich. It's a little more spirited. I don't care for bell pepper so I substitute jalapeno pepper and saute it with the onions. I like Swiss cheese salt, pepper and garlic powder on it.

WOW! Toby Kieth and Taylor Swift are singing with the Boston Pops. It's beautiful. Toby sang several patriotic songs and he rocked! The fireworks are great you guys, tune in! The choreography is perfect, definitely impressive!

Good Morning Everybody!

Bad news all over folks, oil spill disaster, heat wave, wars, etc... Seems like the whole world has gone crazy.

Too much to do again today. Seems like whenever I take some time off something else here at the ranch breaks down and needs work. This time its a real "crappy" job too. Without going into too much detail yeah, gotta do some digging and replacing of pipe. Oh happy happy, joy joy!

Stay out of the heat today folks, they're talking record heat temps on the east coast. Check on your elderly neighbors too and if you have an extra fan you could loan out to them please do so. Temps are supposed to be this way all week so lets look out for each other.

Here is something to start your day, hope to see y'all this evening or maybe this afternoon.

Have a GREAT day everybody!

Just finished my state inspection on the shop and had things all nice and clean, new safety zones painted around work areas, new signs hung and all of my paperwork was right this time. LOL! I am SO glad thats over!

While I was waiting for them to arrive I received a phone call from one of the finest people on this forum y'all, our very own brother in Christ, Pastor Bruce. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! We were interrupted by the inspectors but still were able to talk about 10 minutes and we had a really nice conversation. Pastor, thank you for making my day!

Hey y'all, has anyone heard from Jaybird? If you have please let us know if he's ok. Jay, Mysti is looking for you and says her prayers are with you and Candie, mine too.

Susan, how are you sweety? I haven't gotten your mail for a few days now, I miss reading them ya know. How is the heat down your way? We finally "might" get some rain and cooler temps tonight. How is your baby and hubby?

Kay, where are you??? Are you guys near that oil smell? I miss you too! Tell your hubby I'm working on the old Ford and will post a picture when its done. Think of a nice color for me, I can't decide.

K, I'm gonna take the rest of the day off and lay under my air conditioner, maybe watch Judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy. Then its, "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" lol....I just love that show!

Have a great day peoples!

You didn't mention how old, but Henry Ford Said You could have any color you wanted as long as you wanted black.

Morning Terry,

My step son and I have an old Ford Mustang "73" fastback. It was under a tarp, blocked up for about 4 years behind the shop before we discovered it was the 3rd one built off the line and tucked under the back seat between the springs were the build sheets. Were hoping for a nice profit on this one. I've done some research and have been quoted varying values on this car. There is a point system in regards to maintaining a high value. So far things look good but we'll see.

Btw, Black sounds good but there again I need to verify the original colors for that make and model to keep the points at their peak for the best possible resale.

It's raining here finally and the temps are tolerable. I'm glad the heat wave is giving us a break. Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining, winter will be here soon enough. Have a great day and don't take any wooden nickels. ThumpUp

Good Morning Everbody! How is everyone so far on this Sunny and wonderfully cool morning?

Well I hope you all are great!

If any of you would like, to you are more than welcome to come chat with me.
I will be over in "Beautiful Pictures" for a little while, and also I will probably be bouncing around on other threads.
I usually post a picture in the thread it goes to as soon as I find them, because you see, I tried just putting them in my favorites and then waiting until the time when I'm actually was on the right thread, but then I was saving too many images in my Favorites and could not find other stuff that I was searching for. So now I just post them as I find them so thats why I bounce around so much at times.
But this morning I will mainly be in Beautiful Pictures".

So again if anyone would like to hangout and chat for a little while I will be there.

I hope to see you there soon,
Love Mysticfox!RollEyes Cool

The original color seems best in that case.

Sarge:

The cinnamon rolls are in the oven and the coffee is done.

There no caution paint around the table area.

I have been going through a trunk and cleaning some of the guns.

I found a 22/410 over under savage and started to think of where I remember it from.

I recall going huckleberries picking with grand pa and grand ma in Mich.

We seemed to always have it but I never heard it fire.

How would you like to try a cinnamon roll, just a dab of frosting for me.

I found the brass fishing pole that we used when my brother and I would fish

in the basement we would fish in the wood boat and grand pa would sit on a

3 legged stool and have his coffee and listen to the shortwave radio tuned to Sweden.

I sure am glad that he (grand pa) took the time to make memories.

Hope you liked the coffee and rolls I will try to call you soon.

Have a great week end and know that God knows your name.

See you later your brbruce.
