Probably not.
Calling the Apostle Paul "our dear brother" may have been MORE of a compliment than using a title.
An Apostle might be a guest, but a brother is family.
"Blood", they say, "is thicker than water."
Granted, the Apostle Peter said the Apostle Paul's letters contain some things that are hard to understand.
Look what else he said about that.
"... which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."
And "... He writes the same way in all his letters..."
Meaning, the Apostle Peter was familiar with ALL of Apostle Paul's letters.
And most importantly...
The Apostle Peter said the Apostle Paul "... wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him."
Meaning, the Apostle Peter recognized that the Apostle Paul's writings were inspired by God.
