She completely ignores me, but thinks the local agnostic is a preacher.

Go figure.
Maybe that should tell you something.

Oh, it does. It certainly does.

But not about you.
(No offense intended toward you.)

I thought maybe it's the way you take single verses from all over and give then your spin to fit your doctrine that she finds suspect.

I'm always happy to visit the context of any verse in question.

I didn't seek those verses out to support my personal doctrine; those verses informed my doctrine.
I read the whole Bible. That's where my doctrine came from.

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? - Galatians 4:16

Monique: WE ARE ALL JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES! EVEN WE DON'T AGREE WITH THE SAYINGS OF JW. 1Corinthians 4:20, 21--No, but I say that the things which the nations sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers with the demons. You cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons; you cannot be partaking of the table of Jehovah and the table of demons.

If you are talking about wars, you are correct it's not dying for the things of God and I agree; with no offense.

Jesus Christ, indeed, is the foremost Witness of Jehovah. Revelation 3:14. Jesus is also "the faithful and true Witness." In prophecy he is often associated with faithfulness, truth, and righteousness, for he is completely trustworthy as a servant of Jehovah God. [Psalm 45:4; Isaiah 11:4, 5; Revelation 1:5; 19:11] He is the greatest Witness for Jehovah. In fact, as "the beginning of the creation of God," Jesus has declared God's glory from the very start. [Proverbs 8:22-30] As a man on the earth, he bore witness to the truth. [John 18:36, 37; 1 Timothy 6:13] After his resurrection, he promised holy spirit to his disciples and told them: "You will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the most distant part of the earth." From Pentecost 33 C.E. onward, Jesus directed these anointed Christians in preaching the good news "in all creation that is under heaven. [Acts 1:6music; Colossians 1:23] Truly, Jesus deserves to be called the faithful and true witness.

I don't expect to see any Jehovah's Witnesses participating in this.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

All the millions of angels in heavens are Witnesses of Jehovah God. Jesus is the first angel Jehovah created. Jesus being called "the only begotten Son" by virtue of his being the sole direct creation of his Father. Jesus, the first born angel, was unique, different from all others of God's angels, all of whom were created or begotten by Jehovah through that firstborn angel. The armies of angels that followed Jesus upon white horses, are Witnesses of Jehovah, Jesus being the foremost Witness of Jehovah.

I was referring to members of the earthly cult. Sit back and let others sacrifice for their brothers.

Revelation 17:14-These will battle with the Lamb, but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. ALSO, THOSE CALLED AND CHOSEN AND FAITHFUL WITH HIM [WILL DO SO].

So the 144,000 [Jehovah's Witnesses] anointed ones that have the heavenly calling, will be with Jesus, following him on white horses. Humans will not participate in this warfare.
