Verses 16 and 17 are of which you should not ignore and leave unquoted either. Quite clearly, Jesus lied to his brothers when he told them "I am not going up to this festival."
According to these few verses, Jesus indeed lied to his brothers. There is nothing in the preceding or proceeding verses that change what is clearly stated in those few paragraphs. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

"Love me" - "my commandments".
It appears that the commands come from the one to be loved.
Not from the law God gave to Israel through Moses.
Since we are NOT Israel.
