i haven’t been on the forum to much here, lately but
i’m still sick and i just don’t have a lot of energy
for some reason. I might get over this one of these
days.
Susan. You can right click on the picture you want, which will open a window. Click on properties at the bottom opf the window and hightlight and copy the address. Click the icon with the tree at the top of your reply window in basic.Paste the copied link into the box that opens up. In most cases the link has to be copied from the actual picture rather than a thumbnail of the picture.

You may need to hound your doctor until he does something to help you. I hate hearing that it has lasted so long.

No Susan Im not in these Pictures, but I have some of me that I will post as soon as I figure out how to download them from my camera. I have some at Disney World and a halftime performance at a Steelers game. That was back in the 70s though. We look the same. Sarge,

Hi, Sarge! Got another service story for ya. My Dad was in the service, and the Sarge in his plattoon would give them a work detail during the week, promising them if their work was done and they passed inspection, they would get liberty leave. The first week, all the work got done and all passed inspection except one soldier; he was unkempt and dirty, so the Sarge denied the plattoon liberty leave. The following week, the same routine, but again the SAME soldier failed inspection again, and liberty leave was denied to the plattoon AGAIN. The following week, same routine again, BUT the plattoon jumped the guy and gave him a shower so he was "squeaky clean" and finally PASSED inspection. The plattoon got their liberty leave.

I think he got bruised up and an "attitude adjustment" in the process of getting "squeaky clean".

I think most of the time they do. They encourage rough treatment. When i was in boot camp one particular sailor always got hit at inspection. He was finally given a shower with a shoe brush. He was so cut up and in pain he ended up in the hospital. Noone was punished and it was never pursued.

Another one, Sarge: my Dad had gotten his first liberty leave from boot camp; when he arrrived home, he gave his Mom such a tight hug that he cracked 3 of her ribs. He felt SO bad. He didnt realize his own strength after going through boot camp.

Wow WT. Most guys are in top shape after bootcamp. I know I used to be in a lot better shape. Smoking has taken a toll on me though. But thank god I can still work with the young ones.
