How do you get rid of it? At first, the opening page was what I wanted: my work page interface. Now it's back to the BasicISP fancy homepage. Me no like.
Firefox won't set any other homepage. If Basic wants to take over my homepage it's getting cancelled; it's irritating.

TCR1977 Open Firefox and click on preferences in that window click on “ Main “ the second line down is “ When Firefox starts: “ then a bar, in it put the address of that you want your startup page to be.
I just tried it in different ways and it works.
Hope it works for you.

RBKayWord of God I've tried that. It worked only the first time now it doesn't respond. I'm now closing the browser Basic opens on connecting and re-opening Mozilla from its desktop icon. That gives me my normal homepage without the Basic bells and whistles. I'm still looking for a solution. I've tried creating a new internet connection manually but that would not connect. Thanks very much for responding. I appreciate it.

I don't like the new homepage either. It loads way too slow and is overcomplicated, for its intended purpose. Here is what I use, as it loads quickly: http://www.mybasicisp.net/WebMail/
I've complained about this before, but might as well talk to the wall.

keithk55 That is a good idea as when you get to the email you can still got anywhere else via the header bar.
The only thing you miss is the news articles. If you click on home you will still have to wait for everything to load.

I'll try the webmail maybe it won't be so sneaky about accepting that as a homepage... although I'm still just closing it ASA it pops up and opening a new window independently.

I have Google Chrome, and it is my home page. I have not had any other page trying to be my home page. Google Chrome has a lot of features you can add, but you can run Google Classic without all the fancy stuff.

I haven't tried Google Chrome or Classic but am always open to a new program that works well and can act as an alternative. Thanks for your replies.
