Truth does not change over time. The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war. Sydney J. Harris

Trump has totally destroyed the nation's credibility!
I could never really envision how dramatically this nation could fall, not the United States with its checks and balances and three-branch government. Trump has managed to destroy our position of world leadership on every front, allowing Communists to run this nation into the ground without firing a shot! The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.
