Knowing Trump's narcissistic ways, he probably wants to be in full military dress standing in the turret of the lead tank. He honestly wanted to ride triumphantly into London in the horse drawn carriage with the queen herself, so this isn't far fetched. Trump has bragged that he knows more than the generals because he had his own private Vietnam at home.(dodging getting aids through his promiscuous, unfaithful ways)

This whole affair is sickening considering how much good would come from spending 30 million dollars providing for our veterans he proclaims he supports.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

TRAITOR! Donald Trump is a traitor to this nation!

Trump betrays the nation while defending a vicious dictator and putting down allies and the nation he was sworn to protect.

The entire election was a sham to begin with, couple that with Russian interference and the 2016 election should be voided.

The Electoral College might have had a practical purpose 150 years ago, but today, it gives one man SIX votes while reducing others to 1/3 of a vote or less.

Trump was installed by the Electoral College, NOT by the majority of The People that voted. To this date, Trump has NEVER had the confidence of the majority of The People. Mitch McConnell set the standard.... with a major election less than a year away, The People should have a say in the appointment of the next SCOTUS.

Mitch McCommie insisted that The People had the right to have a say in the appointment of the SCOTUS pick denied Obama. In that election, The People spoke out loud and clear, by a 3 million vote plurality, The People clearly chose Clinton to be the one to appoint the next SCOTUS.

Although Trump won the majority of the Electoral College votes, he has NEVER had the confidence or choice by the majority of The People. According to the McCommie standard, Trump has NO RIGHT to choose ANY person to be SCOTUS!

When Trump is found guilty of conspiracy with a hostile foreign nation in order to win the election, he will be declared illegitimate.

Day by day, as Mueller closes in, it becomes more apparent that Trump is becoming totally unhinged!

The man that lost the vote and confidence of The People chooses a man that is opposed by 65% of The People and put into office by changing and bending the rules.... losers appointed by losers!

Ford Prepares for Mass Layoffs

Ford Prepares for Mass Layoffs After Losing $1 Billion to Trump's Trade Tariffs, Report Says

Ford is having a bad year in 2018. Its stock is down 29%, and the tariffs imposed by President Trump have reportedly cost the company $1 billion, as the company is in the midst of a reorganization. Now, the company is announcing layoffs.

Jim Hackett, Ford’s CEO, is working to engineer a $25.5 billion restructuring of the automaker, hoping to cut costs and remain competitive, the Wall Street Journal reports. But auto sales are down, and one reason is the trade tariffs that Trump has imposed on metals and other goods. According to Bloomberg, Hackett has said they have already cost the company $1 billion in profit and could do “more damage” if the disputes aren’t resolved quickly.

Ford, the No. 2 U.S. automaker by sales, is making aggressive job cuts as part of that reorganization, NBC News reported. While the company hasn’t said how many jobs will be lost, a report from Morgan Stanley estimates “a global headcount reduction of approximately 12 percent,” or 24,000 of Ford’s 202,000 workers worldwide.”

While reports have indicated that the job cuts are likely to come early next year, The Kansas City Star reported Tuesday that Ford has temporarily halted production of transit vans in Claycomo, Mo. The move is intended to prevent a build-up in Ford’s inventories of the vans, but it will leave 2,000 workers idle between Oct. 22 and Nov. 4.

Despite news of the layoffs, Ford’s stock closed down 3.4% Tuesday.

At a time when automakers are scrambling to prepare for self-driving cars, Ford is also struggling to keep pace with the rest of the industry. September was a bad month for U.S. auto sales—with aggregate sales down 7%—but Ford’s drop off was even more severe. Ford said its sales of its vehicles declined 11.2% last month, with sales of its best-selling F-Series pickup trucks down 9%.
