Trump wants you to believe those that fighting fascism, i.e. Antifa, are terrorists. Everyone that fought against Hitler in World War 2 was Antifa. The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war. We have a violent, racist past. It never went away, people just didn't talk about it... The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war. Charles Manson didn't actually kill anyone either! ANY person that incites others to violence, mayhem or death is just as guilty as those that carry out the act!The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war. The insurrection is not over...Last night, Capitol Police briefed House Democrats on three potential plots for violence over the coming days:
— A demonstration billed as the “largest armed protest ever to take place on American soil”
— A protest honoring the woman killed by Capitol Police as she attempted to break into the Speaker’s Lobby during the siege
— A plan to form a perimeter around the Capitol, White House, and Supreme Court and potentially execute Democrats as they tried to enter the Capitol
Make no mistake: the violent insurrection was the beginning, not the end, of the violence they sparked. There is no moving on from this. The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.
