I’ve been mystified in that there has been no scriptures given for the contemporary christian scene. For instance The blissful state of so many churches and denominations? The teachings of doctrine that the bible cannot support. The two items I was referrering to the other pm was Sunday sacredness and immortality of the soul. On these two hang the bulk of satans tremendous hoax that he has purpetrated upon humanity. I think one of the BIG "church" problems is that people talk a lot about God when they need to be talking TO Him.
Jesus said that where ever two or more were gathered in His name that He would be in the midst of them.
To me this is the jist of "git r done".
I enjoy reading the post comments. God loves ALL of His children but does not love all their ways.

I do not criticize you for worshipping on Saturday. That doesn’t matter to me. But you have no right to declare that as absolute. Christians have been worshipping on Sunday since the early church in the book of Acts. Several of us on this forum have provided scripture on this. It seems as though we straighten you out and two weeks later you are back with the same band wagon. When you make denominational preferences absolute, you cause division in the body of Christ. This is a very serious matter. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21 KJV The NIV rendering of these bold items is: hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; ... People are abandoning the Church and taking a consummer attitude about where and when they will go. Even on this forum, it seems that everyone has "an axe to grind". This is one of the most missquoted scriptures that I hear all the time from "pulpits and parishioners" alike. The problem is not so much with the statement as it is with the context. Matthew 18:15-20 deals with church discipline. So the coming together has to do with the prayer of agreement, NOT congregating. Jesus is saying that His authority is granted in the act of reconciliation between members in the body of Christ. See below. A Brother Who Sins Against You 15 "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16 But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ’every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. 18 "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:15-20 The truth is, we don’t need to be with other believers for Jesus to be with us. He goes where we go. There is however, a wonderful dynamic that occurs when believers gather. think a minute steve...look at the words seventh day adventist. look at them real closely....do you see that these three words would fit ANY of God’s people in the bible? All of God’s people in scripture kept the 7th day sabbath. AND they were looking forward to the coming of the Messiah. You will not find one (1) text in the scripture that tells us that the sabbath has been changed to the 1st day of the week. Look at the context of the 8 different places in the NT that mentions the 1st day, and it is only to tell when the event was occurring. it is the missled who go against the scripture admonitions. Now I said MISSLED. I can only speak for myself when in my youth I NEVER gave the sabbath a thought. I grew up thinking that sunday was THE holy day of the week. I wasn’t until I was 33 years old that I found out that I was being led down the garden path. I was a baptist by profession. When I found out about saturday being the 7th day, that the 4th commandment explicity (spelling) talkes about the 7th day being blessed by God, It dawned on me that I was on a very crouded path indeed....look at how many people are on it. Matt 7:13-14 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. mkeffer, you are wrong. The Jewish people lost their "favored nation" status when they stoned Stephen in acts 7. You will read on to see that the Gospel then went to the Gentiles. Later, I think in acts 10 you will meet up with Cornelius, and so on. mkeffer, I am sorry you consider the SDA church "anathama", to coin a catholic word. say, without sufficient energy, the United States will not be able to defend itself. All
the papacy has to do is cut off the oil supply from the middle east.
The United States is now starting to feel the pinch of the energy shortage the Jesuits
have created. People have experienced blackouts over large areas as power is shut
off to stay within the limits of generating capacity. Today, instead of constructing
additional nuclear power plants, some of these plants are being dismantled! Will the
people of the United States be able to wake up in time to prevent the coming
national tragedy?
Not only in the United States is this treachery being perpetrated by the papacy, but
they are secretly at work all over the world to subvert all the nations of the world.

Another thought about the Jews. Salvation for them is just like it is for you and me. Only through Jesus!
