The media is NOT the enemy of The People.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

The "free press" is NOT the enemy of The People. That distinction belongs to those claiming the "free press" is the enemy.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

The first thing despots want to do is silence any opposition by any means. That is why we have the first amendment, to guard against authoritarians and dictators.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

Spin it any way you choose, but the numbers don't lie.

The majority of news outlets are fairly trust worthy. While many may report with an obvious slant, the free press is essential to freedom and democracy.

Obviously Andy Rooney never made this comment, but the issue if factual.

Normally I wouldn't put much stock in something from FOX, but Shepard Smith has actually spoken the truth! I wonder how long before he gets fired?

A democratic republic lives by a free press. Stifle the press and freedoms begin to fall.

Trump calls congressman "little Adam Schitt"

Trump calls congressman Adam Schiff 'little Adam Schitt' in tweet

"Wow, Mr. President, that’s a good one. Was that like your answers to Mr. Mueller’s questions, or did you write this one yourself?" Schiff fired back.

President Donald Trump described Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California as "little Adam Schitt" in a tweet Sunday, criticizing the likely incoming House Intelligence Committee chairman for his comments about acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker earlier in the day.

The tweet was still up on the president's Twitter page more than an hour after Trump first posted it.

"So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate, but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate!" Trump wrote.

Schiff responded within an hour, tweeting, "Wow, Mr. President, that's a good one."

"Was that like your answers to Mr. Mueller’s questions, or did you write this one yourself?" he added, referring to reporting that Trump will soon submit his written answers to special counsel Robert Mueller's questions.
