NYT shuts down Trump with epic front page banner: ‘ELECTION OFFICIALS NATIONWIDE FIND NO FRAUD’

President Donald Trump will awake on Wednesday to a brutal banner headline in The New York Times.

“Election officials in dozens of states representing both political parties said that there was no evidence that fraud or other irregularities played a role in the outcome of the presidential race, amounting to a forceful rebuke of President Trump’s portrait of a fraudulent election,” the newspaper reported.

“Over the last several days, the president, members of his administration, congressional Republicans and right wing allies have put forth the false claim that the election was stolen from Mr. Trump and have refused to accept results that showed Joseph R. Biden Jr. as the winner,” The Times explained. “But top election officials across the country said in interviews and statements that the process had been a remarkable success despite record turnout and the complications of a dangerous pandemic.”

The United States has become a third world nation!

FAQ: MSF’s COVID-19 response in the United States

What is Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) doing to address the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States?

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, MSF ran temporary operations in the United States from April to October. MSF recognized that there was a clear need for more support for the response to the outbreak in the US. In key sites around the country, we worked with local authorities and partner organizations serving vulnerable communities with limited access to health care.

MSF teams collaborated with local authorities and community-based organizations on a wide range of projects, including work with people who are homeless or housing insecure in New York; migrant farmworkers in Florida; Native American communities in the Navajo Nation and Pueblos; and neglected and marginalized communities in Puerto Rico. Our teams also worked with staff in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in Michigan and Texas to offer training in infection prevention and control measures and support for mental health and wellness. You can read more about these activities in our operational update.

Why has MSF decided to launch operations in the US?

This pandemic—and the stress it has put on some of the world’s strongest health systems—is unprecedented. We have seen hospitals overrun with critical patients in parts of the US and Europe. In the US, there are significant health inequities and a high number of people who suffer from co-morbidities that put them at higher risk of death from COVID-19. There was a clear need for additional support for the COVID-19 response, especially among vulnerable communities with limited access to health care, shelter, or basic sanitation and among residents and staff in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

Robert Reich

Alice Walton, Jim Walton, and Rob Walton — the richest members of the family that owns Walmart — have seen their collective wealth grow by $43 billion ($43,000,000,000) during the pandemic, and their corporation has enjoyed record profits throughout. But according to a new study by the Government Accountability Office, Walmart is one of the top four employers of SNAP and Medicaid beneficiaries in 11 states. The study analyzed data from February — meaning the situation for Walmart workers has likely worsened due to the pandemic.

That’s right: The richest company in the country, owned by the richest family in the country, pays such low wages that thousands of their workers need food stamps to survive. This is the real looting in America. Enough of this morally obscene corporate welfare. Enough of U.S. taxpayers footing the bill for Walmart’s starvation wages. It’s time for Walmart and the Waltons to pay their fair share, and pay their workers a living wage.

What do you think?

TRUMP CAMPAIGN PAID MILLIONS FOR RECOUNT IN WISCONSIN, AND BIDEN INCREASED LEAD BY 132 VOTES

Outgoing President Donald Trump paid $3 million for a recount in Wisconsin, only for President-Elect Joe Biden to increase his lead.

Trump lost Wisconsin by at least 20,000 votes, but he has been crying foul ever since, including a rant on Friday declaring that he will only leave the White House if Biden proves his popular vote total is legitimate.

What’s really ridiculous is Trump’s repeatedly debunked election fraud accusations, which have yet to hold up in court case after court case because he has not provided any evidence.

And that now includes Milwaukee County in Wisconsin, where Trump demanded and paid for a recount. If Trump thought paying for a recount would entitle him to a win, he will be sorely disappointed because it turns out that Biden is the one who picked up more votes, 132 votes to be exact.

“Milwaukee County concludes its recount of the presidential election — one of two counties where Trump sought a recount in Wisconsin,” the Washington Post reported. “The results: Biden’s lead, currently at about 20,000 statewide, grew by 132 votes.”

Trump did not have to request a recount, of course. He could have accepted the results since a 20,000 vote margin is all but impossible to overcome. In fact, this recount changed the vote total very little, just like other recounts in past elections.

So, the Trump campaign is wasting money on recounts that are not going to change the overall results. The same was true in Georgia, and it’s true in Wisconsin. Election results are being or have been certified in the remaining battleground states where Trump has thrown Hail Mary passes. He should concede. If he refuses, Americans will get to enjoy watching him get dragged out on January 20th after Biden is sworn in as the duly elected 46th President of the United States.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

BE OF GOOD COURAGE, THE FRAUD WILL BE EXPOSED AND PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL BE GOOD FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS!!!!!!

YES!!!!!! AND OBAMA AND CLINTON, SCHUMER, HOLDER, PELOSI, REID, RICE, SHIFT, AND THE REST OF THE DEEP STATE WILL

ALL BE SENT TO GITMO......WEARING ORANGE!!!!!!!!!
Many wonder today why the Republican party does nothing to defeat the treasonous
schemes of the Democrats. It is because the pope’s Jesuits have thoroughly
infiltrated the Republican party as well as the Democratic party. Many wonder why
the news media lie so much to support and protect the Democrats. It is because the
pope’s Jesuits have thoroughly infiltrated the news media. The news media and
schools and colleges, with their lies and propaganda, have so conditioned the
people of the country that they are unable to recognize what has been done to them.
Victory for the Jesuits seems very near. The Jesuits are like a cancer that has
pervaded nearly every fiber of the society of the United States. We are being
defeated by the enemy within.

For many years the Jesuits have prevented the United States from developing
additional sources of energy within its own territory. Exploiting the vast oilfields on
the Alaskan north slope, that probably contain more oil than the entire middle east,
is forbidden. New nuclear power plants, the safest source of electric energy ever
discovered, are not permitted. There is no end to the lies people have been made to
believe about Nuclear energy. The environment is used as the club to subdue the
people of the country into going along with this idiocy. Modern technology is able to
develop these sources of power without any damage to the environment. France
gets 80% of its power from nuclear power plants without any problems. Needless to
say, without sufficient energy, the United States will not be able to defend itself. All
the papacy has to do is cut off the oil supply from the middle east.

The United States is now starting to feel the pinch of the energy shortage the Jesuits
have created. People have experienced blackouts over large areas as power is shut
off to stay within the limits of generating capacity. Today, instead of constructing
additional nuclear power plants, some of these plants are being dismantled! Will the
people of the United States be able to wake up in time to prevent the coming
national tragedy?

Not only in the United States is this treachery being perpetrated by the papacy, but
they are secretly at work all over the world to subvert all the nations of the world.

"And all the world wondered after the beast." Rev 13:3 last part.

I pray for the scales to be taken from your eyes before it's too late!

Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Trump persists in ignoring democracy's realities, even as Barr abandons him

All six states where President Trump contested his defeat have finalized results showing he lost, fair and square. Forty lawsuits have gone nowhere for lack of evidence anyone cheated. The administration's top election security official was willing to sacrifice his job for concluding this "election was the most secure in American history."

And now the Cabinet member most influentially loyal to the president the past two years, William Barr, has reported that his Justice Department has not uncovered any evidence of the widespread voter fraud Trump alleges — and has seen nothing that might alter the outcome of an election clearly won by Joe Biden.

Under any normal American democratic circumstances, such a clear conclusion from the attorney general delivered four weeks after Election Day would be the belt encircling the suspenders holding up the elastic waistband pants. Instead, the ousted president declared Wednesday: "We will win!"

Trump's dogged pursuit of his fantastical theories could be ignored altogether from now on. Or else they might get noted only as sideshow evidence of a sore loser who's so intent on attacking every available presidential norm that he's considering announcing a 2024 comeback bid on Biden's inauguration day.

The issues they have pointed to are typical in every election: problems with signatures, secrecy envelopes and postal marks on mail-in ballots, as well as the potential for a small number of ballots miscast or lost.

By midafternoon he was also remaining silent about what Barr told the Associated Press on Tuesday: that while federal prosecutors and FBI agents have been working to follow up on a range of specific complaints and information they've received about voting malfeasance, "to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election."

That comment, which did draw a rebuke from Trump's attorneys, is especially notable given how Barr has been among the president's most ardent and important allies — including by repeatedly making unsubstantiated warnings about the vulnerability of mail-in voting during the coronavirus pandemic.

While Trump has permitted the transition to a Biden administration to begin, he has deviated from all other modern presidents by refusing to concede.

His next formal opportunity to do so comes in a dozen days, when members of the Electoral College across the country convene to cast their ballots. The people have given Biden a solid claim on 306 of those votes, to 232 for Trump.

The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

All 50 states and DC have now certified their presidential election results

By Liz Stark and Ethan Cohen, CNN ~ Updated 4:42 PM ET, Wed December 9, 2020

All 50 states and the District of Columbia have now certified their presidential results, according to CNN's tally, as the Electoral College process moves forward with the meeting of electors on Monday.

West Virginia became the final state to certify its presidential election results Wednesday, formally declaring that President Donald Trump is entitled to the state's five electoral votes.

President-elect Joe Biden is projected to win 306 electoral votes, and Trump is projected to win 232. It takes 270 electoral votes of the 538 available to become president.

The states' certifications come as Trump has baselessly claimed that the election was rigged and sowed doubt about the outcome of the presidential race. Dozens of lawsuits challenging the results have been dismissed at the state and federal levels across the country since the November election.

Trump can go to jail for his pardons — and it may make it easier to prosecute other crimes: expert

One of the nation's premier constitutional law experts explained why Donald Trump could be criminally prosecuted for his pardons -- and how it could compound his legal liabilities.

"If, as Alexander Pope reflected in 1711, 'to err is human, to forgive, divine,' then the US Constitution's pardon power — the prerogative of forgiveness — should be beyond reproach. Instead, a godless US president who appears incapable of forgiveness has seemingly perverted this instrument of mercy into another grave threat to the rule of law. Donald Trump's recent twisting of the pardon power risks leaving a damaging legacy: a blueprint for manipulating this vestige of royal prerogative to place presidents and their cronies above the law. But a remedy exists: investigation and potential prosecution. We must treat any obstructions of justice we uncover as the crimes they are," Laurence Tribe wrote for the Financial Times.

Tribe has taught at Harvard Law for 50 years and tried three-dozen cases before the United States Supreme Court.

"Pardons used as a means of obstructing justice are integral parts of criminal conduct precisely because the president has the formal power to grant them. The very breadth of that power enables a president to deploy it as a tool of criminality. If pardons used to reward silence could be invalidated by the courts, they would be worthless to their recipients and useless in a scheme to interfere with a formal inquiry," Tribe explained. "The result is not to negate the pardons issued but to expose a president to prosecution for the way he deployed them. If Mr Trump abuses pardons to shield himself and key allies from justice, that could be charged as criminal obstruction of justice, an abuse of the constitutional power of clemency to accomplish an illegal end."

The pardons could backfire for Trump.

"The result is not to negate the pardons issued but to expose a president to prosecution for the way he deployed them. If Mr Trump abuses pardons to shield himself and key allies from justice, that could be charged as criminal obstruction of justice, an abuse of the constitutional power of clemency to accomplish an illegal end," he explained.

‘Sedition is a precise word’: GOP ripped for their ‘brutal betrayal of their oaths of office’

Republican efforts to reject the outcome of the 2020 election -- which Donald Trump lost to President-elect Joe Biden -- have created a dangerous situation in America, according to long-time GOP strategist Steve Schmidt.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced on Saturday that ten Republican senators would join him in refusing to accept the fact that Trump lost. The group was quickly blasted as "treasonous garbage." The scheme could hurt Republicans in the Georgia runoff elections and 2022 midterm elections.

The effort, which Pence has welcomed, is already fracturing the GOP Senate caucus.

Cruz and Hawley's days are limited!

Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

US police three times as likely to use force against leftwing protesters, data finds

Law enforcement responses to more than 13,000 protests show a clear disparity in responses, new statistics show

Police in the United States are three times more likely to use force against leftwing protesters than rightwing protesters, according to new data from a non-profit that monitors political violence around the world.

In the past 10 months, US law enforcement agencies have used teargas, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and beatings at a much higher percentage at Black Lives Matter demonstrations than at pro-Trump or other rightwing protests.

The new statistics come from the US Crisis Monitor, a database created this spring by researchers at Princeton and the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data project (ACLED), a nonprofit that has previously monitored civil unrest in the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

The researchers found that the vast majority of the thousands of protests across the United States in the past year have been peaceful, and that most protests by both the left and the right were not met with any violent response by law enforcement.

Police used teargas, rubber bullets, beatings with batons and other force against demonstrators at 511 leftwing protests and 33 rightwing protests since April, according to updated data made public this week.

Half of the time police made any intervention into a leftwing protest, it involved using violent force, ACLED found, compared with only about a third of the time for rightwing protests.

The majority of the protests ACLED categorized as leftwing were Black Lives Matter demonstrations, but also included pro-Biden demonstrations; protests by left-leaning groups such as Abolish Ice, the NAACP, or the Democratic Socialists of America; and protests associated with anti-fascists or left-leaning militia groups and street movements.

The rightwing protests included pro-Trump and pro-police demonstrations, including “Blue Lives Matter” rallies; rightwing protests against coronavirus public health restrictions; protests involving QAnon conspiracy theory supporters and others associated with the “Save Our Children” movement; and the “Stop the Steal” rallies promoting Trump’s false claims about his 2020 election loss.[/size]
The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.
