Probe of Hillary Clinton

State Dept. intensifies email probe of Hillary Clinton’s former aides

The Trump administration is investigating the email records of dozens of current and former senior State Department officials who sent messages to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email, reviving a politically toxic matter that overshadowed the 2016 election, current and former officials said.

As many as 130 officials have been contacted in recent weeks by State Department investigators — a list that includes senior officials who reported directly to Clinton as well as others in lower-level jobs whose emails were at some point relayed to her inbox, said current and former State Department officials. Those targeted were notified that emails they sent years ago have been retroactively classified and now constitute potential security violations, according to letters reviewed by The Washington Post.

If Hillary does this, Trump will actually win the election this time!

God put her here!

Former Clinton adviser says Hillary feels 'God put her on the Earth' to be president

Former Clinton adviser Dick Morris said Hillary Clinton likely wants to jump into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary because she feels "entitled" to the presidency.

"My feeling is that she wants to," Morris said Sunday on John Catsimatidis's radio show about "the ghost of Hillary" entering the presidential race.

"She feels entitled to do it. She feels compelled to do it. She feels that God put her on the Earth to do it. But she’s hesitant because she realizes the timing is bad," he said. "She’s got to wait until Biden drops out because he’s obviously next in line for it, and if he goes away, there’s an opening for her."

Morris said the "question is" whether there are enough moderate voters for the former secretary of state to beat "leftist" Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

Clinton, 72, has teased a presidential run recently, saying in an interview that "maybe there does need to be a re-match" of the 2016 presidential election. "I can beat him again," she said, apparently referring to the popular vote.

Baby Trump Balloon Stabbed

'Baby Trump' balloon stabbed, deflated outside Alabama-LSU game; suspect arrested

by Jack HeleanSaturday, November 9th 2019

The 'Baby Trump' balloon was deflated after being stabbed by a protester shortly before kick-off of the Alabama-LSU game Saturday afternoon.

The man who stabbed the balloon at Monnish Park was wearing an Alabama Crimson Tide t-shirt. He was screaming at the organizers of the Donald Trump protest as police led him, handcuffed, into the back of a squad car.

He was booked into Tuscaloosa County Jail and charged with Criminal Mischief.

The 'Baby Trump' balloon was brought to Tuscaloosa Saturday to protest the presence of President Donald Trump at the game.

Donors raised the $4,000 needed to rent the balloon earlier this week.

When asked for comment the organization that owns 'Baby Trump' said the deflation doesn't make much of a difference to them, "We have 6 [Baby Trump balloons] and will persist to resist the Liar-in-Chief."

I have quoted portions of two totally separate articles dealing with a lawsuit and cease and desist order filed by a leading Trump attorney and advisor, Jenna Ellis. She claims a poll by CNN showing Biden beating Trump by 14 percentage points is fake news. She claims ALL other polls show Trump leading Biden which is why I posted results from a FOX so-called News poll.

Trump 2020 attorney spars with CNN host over presidential poll

The senior legal adviser to President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign on Sunday condemned CNN’s recent presidential poll as “misleading junk science” in a contentious interview on the network.

The “Reliable Sources” interview, lasting more than 10 minutes, consisted largely of the adviser, Jenna Ellis, and CNN host Brian Stelter scolding, yelling and speaking over each other.

At the heart of the dispute was a CNN poll released last Monday that showed former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, leading Trump by 14 points among registered voters. Ellis repeatedly characterized the poll as “junk” because it included adults who are not registered voters, though the head-to-head Biden-Trump numbers were exclusively based on the opinions of registered voters. The overall poll, which included other questions, featured 1,259 adults — 1,125 of them registered voters.

On Wednesday, the Trump campaign sent a letter co-signed by Ellis to the network demanding a retraction. “It’s a stunt and a phony poll to cause voter suppression, stifle momentum and enthusiasm for the President,” the letter stated.

Fox News Poll: Biden widens lead over Trump; Republicans enthusiastic, but fear motivates Dems

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden continues to lead President Donald Trump in the race for the White House, as majorities say racism, unemployment, and coronavirus pose a major threat to the stability of the country, according to the latest Fox News Poll.

Biden supporters are far more likely to say fear that Trump might win is behind their vote choice (63 percent) than to say it is enthusiasm for Biden (31 percent). The opposite is true among those backing Trump, as almost twice as many of his supporters say enthusiasm is the motivation (62 percent) rather than fear Biden could win (33 percent).

In the head-to-head matchup, the poll finds Biden leads Trump by a 50-38 percent margin. That 12-point advantage is statistically significant, and up from Biden’s 8-point lead last month (48-40 percent).

For over a year, the portion backing Trump against Biden has stayed between 37-42 percent. Biden’s support has ranged from 42-52 percent.

Biden is better liked. His favorable ratings are net positive by 9 points (53 favorable vs. 44 unfavorable), while Trump’s are net negative by 13 (43 favorable vs. 56 unfavorable).

Among voters extremely interested in the election, Biden tops Trump by 53-42 percent.

Trump’s overall job rating held steady, as 44 percent of voters approve and 55 percent disapprove. His best marks came in April, when views on his performance split 49-49 percent.
The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

The sign of an insecure, scared and weak little man!

Trump's White House took down Clinton and W Bush portraits — and put them in a storage room: report

The politics of presidential portraits continue to swirl around the Trump administration, according to a new report by CNN.

The official portraits of former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were removed from the Grand Foyer of the White House within the last week, aides told CNN, and replaced by those of two Republican presidents who served more than a century ago,” CNN reported. “White House tradition calls for portraits of the most recent American presidents to be given the most prominent placement, in the entrance of the executive mansion, visible to guests during official events.”

“Photographs of the new portrait locations were reviewed by CNN, showing the Clinton and Bush portraits now hanging in the Old Family Dining Room, a small space off the grand State Dining Room,” CNN explained. “The Old Family Dining Room is barely used in the Trump administration, aides said, and was taken off the list of locations visited during White House tours before the pandemic closed the executive mansion to the public. ‘President and Mrs. Trump did not want that room showcased on public tours,’ a separate official said, adding that the room had essentially become a storage room during the last three years.

This is not the first time Trump has broken with tradition on presidential portraits.

The portrait of former President Barack Obama is not expected to be unveiled for a formal ceremony during Trump’s first term, a sign of the bitter relationship between the 44th and 45th presidents. Trump has accused Obama of unsubstantiated and unspecified crimes, and has questioned whether Obama was born in the US for years,” CNN reminded.
The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.

Yankee Stadium pitch becomes latest debacle for Trump

It was absurd for Trump to pretend he'd been invited to appear at Yankee Stadium. But it was his motivation that was truly pitiful.

At about 7 p.m. (E.T.) this past Thursday, Dr. Anthony Fauci was welcomed onto the field at Nationals Park in D.C., where he had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the first game of the major-league season. The pitch didn't go especially well, but it was nevertheless an acknowledgement of the infectious-disease expert's prominent role in our society right now.

About an hour earlier, Donald Trump stood in the White House press briefing room, and unprompted, told reporters, "I’ve agreed -- [New York Yankees President] Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees, and he asked me to throw out the first pitch, and I think I’m doing that on August 15th at Yankee Stadium."

Four days later, the president changed course, announcing via Twitter that he actually plans to be busy on August 15th. The opening pitch will have to wait, he wrote, because of his "strong focus on the China Virus, including scheduled meetings on Vaccines, our economy and much else."

As Trump lies go, this one was almost comical. The idea that the president, who spends much of his time watching television and playing golf, can predict three weeks in advance how busy he'll be with his official duties was obviously implausible.

So, what actually happened? The New York Times reported overnight:

"Mr. Trump had not actually been invited on that day by the Yankees, according to one person with knowledge of Mr. Trump’s schedule. His announcement surprised both Yankees officials and the White House staff. But Mr. Trump had been so annoyed by Dr. Fauci’s turn in the limelight, an official familiar with his reaction said, that he had directed his aides to call Yankees officials and make good on a longtime standing offer from Mr. Levine to throw out an opening pitch. No date was ever finalized."
The difference between patriotism and nationalism is that the patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does; the first attitude creates a feeling of responsibility, but the second a feeling of blind arrogance that leads to war.
